The Role

The successful candidate will be part of the marketing database team which has developed its own in-house marketing database solution to support campaign management and data analysis.

A professional, highly motivated individual is required to assist in the production and management of the company's customer database which provides insight to members of the management team as well as external clients.

Responsibilities:

* Work with the Head of Database Marketing to deliver marketing campaigns to budgeted plans and spend

* Evaluate and analyse results to provide insight to the Head of Database Marketing and the wider business

* Work with third party data suppliers to facilitate optimisation of house file records utilising external data sets

* Running campaign data selections in accordance with marketing briefs

* The production and delivery of data to the printers / email provider to spec and to deadline. Plus the briefing of campaigns to internal departments, external printers and external business clients

* Setting up of promotions in CRM software and testing all aspects to ensure customers are receiving the offer as advertised

Pre-requisites

* Numerate & logical thinker

* Solid organisation and communication skills

* Excellent attention to detail

* A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a B2C environment

* A results driven focus with strong analytical skills with an aptitude for interpreting data

* Ability to follow detailed instructions with a high degree of accuracy

* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)

* Self-motivated with an ability to learn new software

Desirable, but not essential:

* Knowledge of mail order

* Knowledge of the new General Data Protection Regulations

* Knowledge of the Apteco FastStats software
