THE OPPORTUNITY

We have a new opportunity for someone to join us and lead a team within the DLA Finance Systems Support.

Supporting the users of finance applications for DLA Piper across the EMEA, your role will play a vital part in the provision of the Practice Management System (PMS) and associated applications for DLA Piper International.

You'll also works closely with the wider Finance and IT teams and across the business.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role you will be expected to carry out the following duties:
  • Leading a team, objective setting against targets and performance reviews
  • Investigate systems issues and testing fixes in liaison with the IT department
  • Supporting users of the finance systems, and managing their queries and issues to resolution
  • Provide best practice advice to systems users
  • Liaise with the third party systems suppliers to register and progress issues to resolution
  • Manage the period end closure processes
  • User account administration for internet banking platforms
  • Be the escalation point for team members to highlight business-impacting issues

  • Experience as a team leader with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve personal and shared goals
  • Exceptional customer service skills with proven track record in the service sector
  • An analytical approach and actively enjoys problem solving
  • Ability to learn quickly with a thorough and precise attitude to work
  • Competence and confidence in the use of IT applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be motivated and able to work effectively with minimum supervision
  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise workloads whilst maintaining a flexible working approach
