On The Beach is seeking a Travel Agency Coordinator to joins its team based in Cheadle near Stockport. As a Travel Agency Coordinator; you will assist the development of our new brand to ensure Classic Package Holidays is a successful and profitable business. You will ensure all incoming calls/enquiries from other agencies are handled in an efficient and timely manner whilst meeting or exceeding all agreed departmental targets for customer service and sales. As the Agency Coordinator your duties will include:
  • Taking enquires from a range of Agents from across the UK and converting them into bookings.
  • Achieving and exceeding company, team and individual objectives relating to sales targets, productivity, product knowledge and attendance/punctuality.
  • Building and maintaining a strong business relationship with Classic Collection Holidays and other employees.
  • Building and maintaining great relationships with agents and industry partners.
  • Effectively and efficiently handling any administration and operational queries.
  • Maintaining accurate information on the company's products, commercial campaigns and ancillary services.
  • Exceeding the expectations and go the extra mile wherever possible.
  • Ensuring bookings that are made are fully realised and booked whilst taking commercial responsibility for the profitability of the booking.
  • Communicating and escalating operational issues and process improvements to the management team.
  • Managing feedback and customer service by dealing with any complaints in a calm and diplomatic manner.
To be a successful Agency Coordinator you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Previous experience of working with travel agents and/or tour operators is highly preferred.
  • Commercial awareness within the industry.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented with a positive outlook.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong computer and administration skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
The hours are full time (37.5 hours per week) working shifts typically between the hours of 8 am - 8 pm Monday - Saturday and 9 am - 8 pm Sunday.

In return, the Agency Coordinator will receive a salary of £17,000 - £19,000 per annum depending on experience plus a bonus.
