As DevOps Engineer you will maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of our teams and ensure they are supported by the right systems, applications, tools and processes. Interested?

HERE'S A BREAKDOWN OF WHAT YOU'LL DO (NOT ALL OF IT, JUST THE MOST IMPORTANT STUFF)
  • Help define and communicate Perform's DevOps strategy and best practices relating to release, test, reliability, monitoring and security'
  • Provide consultancy for developing and deploying containerized, micro-service and serverless solutions.
  • Develop automation to augment or replace procedures to
  • maximise
  • productivity and efficiency
  • Maintain Perform's Service Catalogue, and ensure systems supported by development teams are monitored with appropriate service level thresholds.
  • Provide reliability, performance and capacity testing and monitoring solutions to ensure development teams produce robust and reliable systems.

DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS?

·Experience of overseeing the management, operations and maintenance of Continual Integration systems, including build, test and deployment.

· Experience of implementing configuration management on systems used in a real-world production environment.

· Experience of monitoring and supporting systems for a 24x7, highly available service.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

· Configuration Management, notably Puppet, Ansible

· Containers, notably Docker and Kubernetes

· Cloud IaaS and PaaS, notably AWS and GCP

· Continuous Integration

· Application and Development Security

· Jenkins/Hudson

· Component Repository Management

· Monitoring, reporting and diagnostics systems

· Version Control Systems (esp. Git)

· Atlassian Jira

· Java, JavaScript, Node.JS, PHP, Python, HTML, CSS

· Linux Administration

· Unit, Integration & Load Testing

· Azure AD & LDAP
