Whitehall Garden Centre, a family run and award winning business since 1968. Creates memorable experiences for garden lovers, foodies and children of all ages.

We are looking for a Digital Marketing & Social Media Assistant to work in our professional Marketing department.

Days of work will be Monday to Friday, with the possibility of an occasional Saturday or Sunday if required.

Responsibilities & Skills:

•Update/promote all social media, e.g. Facebook, Instagram & Twitter

•Concept editorials for adverts

•Create general site and product POS for all three stores

•Ensure that all signage, POS is up to date and in line with branding.

•Update & manage Garden Club Membership/Promote Whitehall Garden Club / Little Acorns Gardening Club

•Deal with all charity & school tasks / relationships

•Ensure all events are promoted on social media within the correct timescales and accurately.

•Ensure all social media profiles are up to date and consistent with the brand.

•Complete all digital marketing requirements e.g sourcing / exporting data to external companies

•Set up Garden Club emails

•Photograph stock, sites & event and update image library as necessary

•Be conversant with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop as well as Word, Outlook and Excel

•Help organize, promote and attend in store events as required

•Liaise with Product Managers and branches on POS requirements and design and produce where required

•Identify key opportunities to create newsworthy coverage

•Help out in the Marketing Department where needed.
