We are currently working with a leading storage provider who work across multiple locations in Europe. Part of a larger group and recently acquiring other businesses this is an exciting period of growth for the business. Due to recent an internal promotion our client is looking for a Terminal Engineer to take responsibility for all aspects of engineering across two sites.

As the Terminal Engineer, you will report to Terminal Manager and be responsible for;

·Assisting in design, engineering, procurement, supervision and administration of both capital expenditure programmes and all aspects of integrity.

·Developing work scopes, initial designs and cost estimates in conjunction with engineering, commercial and operational functions.

·Ensuring any works carried out comply with legislation including both national, international and company standards.

·Efficient cost control and forecasting.

·Supervision of contractors ensuring that they are compliant with site H&S rules.

To be the successful Terminal Engineer you will:

·Hold a degree in an engineering or science-based subject and either hold membership to a professional institution or be working towards said membership.

·Have experience of working in a Chemicals, Oil & Gas or Process related industry

·Have knowledge of planning and implementing an asset maintenance outage

·Be astute with engineering cost estimates, budgeting and cost control

·Knowledge of storage tanks including API650 & 653, BSEN14015, EEMUA159

·Knowledge of piping design, fabrication, maintenance and testing including ANSI B31.1

·Knowledge of SCADA and process automation systems

·Knowledge of pressure system regulations, LOLER, PUWER and ATEX.
