Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Hampshire, commutable from: Andover, Eastleigh, Southampton, Christchurch, Bournemouth, Poole, Salisbury etc.
Salary: £40,000-£55,000 + Excellent Benefits

Embedded Software Engineer required to join our client in Hampshire.

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join a very well established privately owned business in Hampshire which employs over 150 people. This business are renowned for their high quality electronic products and are used with other prestigious brands worldwide.

This is a fantastic business to join as they are dominating the market place with their products and the technology they use, you will be joining a business that doesn't have direct competition!

As an Embedded Software Engineer you will be joining a successful engineering team where you will work closely with other Software Engineers, Hardware Engineers and Test Engineers to design and develop products using the latest technologies.

As an Embedded Software Engineer you will be joining a passionate Research & Development team where the common goal is to create the best products available! These engineers take advantage of using the latest software technology to create, update and maintain new and existing products to ensure they are superior to their predecessors and any other product on the market.

As an Embedded Software Engineer, here is a list of some of your tasks:
  • Develop embedded software written mainly in C and sometimes C++
  • Collaborate with the Software Development Team, Electronic Engineering Team and Test Teams to create world class products.
  • Work with existing products to fix issues and add functionality.
  • Produce clear, and well documented code and engage in peer code review.
  • Provide software support for the transition of products from R&D to mass production.
