Conduct Risk and Compliance Oversight
Currently recruiting for a Conduct Risk professional to join a leading UK Retail Bank. You will be responsible for Risk oversight and advisory across the business and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of an Assistant Manager. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of Conduct Risk and some experience within retail banking,with a particular focus on Payments. You will provide a range of information, interpretation and guidance for conduct risk reporting and to enable the business to assess the downstream implications linked to their decisions. You will also provide technical regulatory compliance support and assistance to the business using own judgement in risk analysis and management. You will also help guide others to help ensure that consistently high standards are maintained across the team which will require attention to detail and clarity of written communications. Key Skills and Knowledge; A broad knowledge of financial regulation within a retail banking environment or at one of our regulators. Stakeholder management providing impact and influencing skills Business acumen interpreting new regulation and providing conduct risk analysis Team management skills including coaching and people development Excellent report drafting and time management skills Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
