Zachary Daniels are pleased to be working with a well established and growing business who are recruiting for an experienced Online Manager who has experience with Amazon, Ebay and other online marketplace in addition to managing a transactional website.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Marketplace Trader with retail experience. If you're looking to make your mark and be the real difference within a well-established and growing company, then this could be the role for you.

Simply put, the role of Online Manager is to ensure that the customer journey is easy and that customers return time and time again. This is a collaborative role, so you'll be working alongside trading, digital, buying and merchandising.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Taking full ownership of Ebay and Amazon Vendor and Seller product listings including adding group new products and managing all pricing and merchandising of Amazon listings
  • Using your analytics skills to optimise Amazon Seller and eBay store listings.
  • Create a trading framework amongst ecommerce, digital marketing and buying teams that ensures alignment of trading activities and methods and secure exclusive online deals for ecommerce trading calendar
  • Conduct regular in-depth onsite/offsite analysis per product category and competitor, providing feedback and recommendations to the wider business
  • Report trading limitations such site availability, platform functionality, system and process issues to the product development/support team for resolution or development.
  • Support Digital Marketing teams to improve traffic, sales, ROI, CPA conversion rate and basket size.
  • Work closely with the project managers, merchandising teams, Buying and Digital Marketing teams to plan online, range launches, promotions and key product themes ensuring the online execution is flawless.

Knowledge and Experience:
  • A minimum of five years experience operating at a similar level within another online retailer
  • Trading mentality - ability to operate at pace!
  • Able to manage a large product catalogue and problem solve
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Highly organised and able to manage own workload
  • Commercial acumen, able to understand margins and deal with budgets
  • Customer obsessed
