Are you looking to join a busy, proactive finance department with flexible working hours? We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join our clients office in Ipswich, three days a week.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong Team Leadership skills and in depth Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable knowledge who is looking to work on a part time basis.

Main Duties:

• Assisting the Finance Manager you will oversee the accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit control, and payment functions.
• Prioritise work deadlines, monitoring the workload of the team, performing annual appraisals and overseeing ongoing training and development of staff.
• Ensure that all income and expenditure is correctly recorded and is taken into account.
• Perform complex income reconciliations.
• Act as the main point of contact for the finance system and be available to provide advice.
• Develop and maintain relationships across the business.
• Liaise with auditors as and when required.
• Other ad hoc finance responsibilities.

You will be driven, communicative and diligent in your work. Strong attention to detail is essential and strong Leadership skills, promoting autonomy and ownership within the team.

An accounting qualification will be beneficial in this role and proven experience of working in a similar environment where you have demonstrated a proactive nature and influencing skills,
