Senior Data Science Engineer are needed to join a local insurance provider, who are building a new Machine Learning product.

This is a senior position where you'll be the first person hired and responsible for building a completely new product.

Having a solid team of existing data analytics specialists, you'll work alongside Business Intelligence, MI Reporting and Data Analysis to gather requirements and assist in the build.

As the first hire within the new team, you'll be responsible for cutting the first line of code and hiring newer members for the foreseeable.

Major parts of your responsibilities will be to build, evolve and continuously improve the company's propensity & pricing models.

Core technical stack needed:
  • At least 5 years experience in either Python or R Programming
  • Understanding or experience in Machine Learning
  • Solid 5 years experience in SQL and Statistical Tools
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the business, including board, business units and non-technical personnel
  • Solid experience in full SDLC, implementation and due diligence
