Sales Director Designate
This is a significant career opportunity, to join an established and successful sales team and quickly take over the sales leadership from the Managing Director.

Selling gas flushing and gas monitoring equipment into the food packaging industry, the role requires vision and sales experience, to help secure an even larger market share and to maximise the impact of new online quality assurance and waste saving products already in development.

Working in parallel with the MD, to build your market and technical knowledge, you will be identifying and converting key customers, through on site visits, trials and negotiations at engineering, senior manager and board director level.

This is both a hands-on and a strategic role. You will be making a primary contribution to ongoing and future sales, budgeting, forecasting and marketing plans, as well as strengthening long term customer relationships and growth within key food related companies, corporate groups and market sectors.

Territory: UK mainland & N. Ireland

The Person
  • Successful track record in all aspects of sales, business development and financial planning
  • Bright, engaged and entrepreneurial outlook
  • Clarity to successfully develop and expand long term relationships with customers
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Lateral thinker, strategic planner, long term goal setter
  • Experience of working closely with international, principal suppliers
  • Computer literate and competent with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Current driving license & the unrestricted ability to travel within UK and occasionally abroad.
