Location: Abingdon (OX14) - with occasional travel
Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday (08:30 - 17:00)

The Opportunity

As IT Support Analyst, you will be responsible for communicating with other offices, departments and colleagues (ranging from junior to the MD) throughout the business in order to manage the smooth-running of their IT systems. This will include speaking to other employees and line managers via telephone, email and face to face in order to identify and solve their various IT issues.

The successful IT Support Analyst will be intelligent and intuitive, thus able to quickly and effectively problem-solve various IT-related problems. Additionally, you must have excellent communication skills and the knowledge to efficiently and effectively solve complex technical issues.

As IT Support Analyst, you must have a really good working knowledge of 2nd Line IT Support, with the ambition to progress into 3rd Line as you will also be required to train and support other employees when necessary. Requirements
  • At least 2 years experience within a 2nd Line Support role (with knowledge of Active Directory, LAN technologies, administering service solutions etc.) and the ambition to progress into 3rd Line Support.
  • Ambitious, friendly and enthusiastic
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A real 'people person', able to help and coach team members when required
  • Innovative and intuitive, able to identify areas of improvements and facilitate this when necessary
  • Full UK driving licence and own car
