Braxfield Recruitment are a leading recruitment agency working within the social housing sector. We have been appointed by a housing provider based in Hertfordshire who are currently looking to recruit a repairs team leader on a permanent basis.

As an experienced Repairs Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of 4 repairs administrator and 2 complaints officer; identifying performance and training gaps and providing effective coaching and real-time support for staff in handling customer contact with effective and professional communication.

You will use your performance management skills when analysing team performance against KPIs and providing staff with individual support and addressing any concerns and development needs.

You will ensure a high quality customer experience is achieved by being part of a team that is responsive to the needs of the customer.

Other duties will include:
  • Managing and coordinator all administrative activities related to the repairs team, ensuring customer and contractor enquiries are promptly dealt with.
  • Responding to escalated complaints.
  • Analysing customer service and repair trends and produce reports with ideas on how to improve the service.
  • Motivating and developing the administrative team through the provision of regular coaching, individual 1-2-1 meetings and performance based reviews.
  • Managing the information systems to provide up to date and accurate job costing, performance and productivity information.

To be considered for this role you must have the following:
  • Previous experience as a Repairs/Admin Team Leader working for a HA, LA or contractor.
  • Excellent knowledge of housing repairs.
  • Staff management experience.
