We are currently representing a role on behalf of our client based in Reading.


Planning, designing and managing of marketing programs and campaigns, that directly drive business objectives across the full client's consumer EMEA portfolio

Translate business objectives into effective marketing strategies to deliver against growth targets

Coordinate campaign delivery through the line, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to align objectives and deliver excellence in execution

Coordinate all brand plans across media channels (TV, social, digital etc) for maximum ROI and exposure

Set up and track ROI metrics for reporting against activity. Analyse and report campaign results to management, identifying opportunities for future growth

Manage internal marketing communication processes and events

Develop a CBG Europe digital strategy

Develop strategies for each of our brands that utilises appropriate budget in proportion to business objectives. Ensure all digital activities are fully connected to overarching brand plans

Develop 3-year roadmaps for all brand websites using company assets where appropriate

Manage PPC and SEO campaigns for maximum ROI

Oversee social content planning and community management

Managing all agency team

Build meaningful relationships with agency partners - Creative, Media Buying, Digital, Social and PR

Drive interagency collaboration, ensuring brand plans are aligned and delivering against core business objectives

Ensure standards of execution are maintained at the highest level and campaigns are delivered on budget and on time

Consolidate where necessary to increase efficiency and reduce cost

Management and development of the Brand and Digital Comms team

Lead project prioritization and time management of team

Drive functional and personal development of team members

Increase the team profile within the broader SW business effectively utilizing internal communication channels

Budget Management

Manage all campaigns to agreed budgets

Maximise utilization of digital budget and assets and identify opportunities and adapt spend to increase ROI

Ensure spend is tracked and reported effectively to the Marketing Director

Develop consumer insights and understanding across Europe

Manage and develop consumer insights into consumer behaviour, media consumption and brand health b. Share insights effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive business development and brand growth


Required: BA Hons Degree or equivalent

Preferred: Marketing Degree


Brand & Digital Marketing experience

Experience of managing and developing a marketing team

Customer facing experience

Ability to lead projects and take internal customers with you i.e. effective interpersonal skills.

Ability to plan and prioritise multiple projects and demanding deadlines

Ability to quickly adapt and optimise the use of new technology and systems.

Experience of working in the DIY Sector and paint / woodcare an advantage

Must hold a UK driving license
