Applications & Contracts Engineer

I am currently looking for a switched on individual with a background in either HVAC or the Construction industry - my client provide a stable career, progression and are based in High Wycombe. If you are confident liaising with a variety of professionals and have a firm understanding of CAD work, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

What does the job involve?
  • Provide air conditioning and ventilation solutions to suit a variety of buildings.
  • Interfacing directly with end users, consultants and contractors.
  • Required to create quotations and CAD drawings for projects using drawings and data that have been received.
  • Expected to attend site at both design stage and throughout the installation to monitor progress until final project handover.
  • Maximum exposure to all aspects of a project from initial enquiry to final payment.

Required Qualifications
  • Although not essential, degree qualified in a numerate or ideally an engineering discipline
  • Must have a full UK driving licence

Key attributes were looking for?
  • The ideal candidate will already have experience in the HVAC sector and possess a level of working knowledge within the construction industry.
  • Confident and customer focused with the ability to deliver a high quality, reliable service.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to effectively organise and prioritise workload.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages and a CAD software with the ability to learn autoCAD.
  • Ability to work responsibly and autonomously if required.

£25k - £30k per annum

Permanent, full-time position
