Our client based in Stafford is looking for a FINANCIAL DATA ANALYST

JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will work with a wide variety of clients, including our corporate account managers and field consultants, as well as working closely with clients. They will be expected to uphold our clients excellent reputation and also integrate smoothly into the team. Fundamental aspects of the role include data management, collation, verification and analysis. In addition, the role includes technical management of our small Business Hub team, as well as direct client support activities on farm. Agricultural industry knowledge would be helpful, but full training will be provided so this is not essential.

Work areas will include:

• Provide financial data analysis for key projects

• To work with project managers to develop the Business Hub to support new business opportunities.

• Management of the Business Hub team technical advancement

• Liaison with account managers to ensure targets and deadlines are met

• Identifying and reporting effective solutions for any delivery issues/risks identified

• Ensuring high level quality control and assurance

• Producing data extracts and reports to agreed deadlines

• Developing new reports as required linked to client requirements

• On farm financial and physical data collection

• Xero accounts set ups and on farm demonstration of Xero to farmers

• Dealing with queries from the on farm data collection team in a timely and efficient manner

• Keeping up to date with emerging technologies and data visualisation software

Requirements:

• Advanced Excel and Data Analyst Skills

• Knowledge cloud-based accounting systems

• Accounts and data analysis experience

• Experience of web-based technologies for delivering products and services

• High level MS PowerPoint and Word skills

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Effective time management skills

• Ability to work to deadlines under pressure

• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)

• Analytical ability with good logic and numeracy skills

• Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies

• Project management and problem solving experience

• Full clean driving licence

Location:

• Based at our clients office base at Dunston, near Stafford

• Full-time with approximately 2-3 days office based

• Would also need to travel to clients and meet colleagues

Salary: £30-38k dependent on skills and experience
