£450-£500per day

This is a high-profile project role focussed on ensuring the successful integration of a recently acquired business into the wider group. We are looking for an experienced project accountant who is happy to get stuck in and 'roll up their sleeves' with the nitty gritty, in addition to quickly building relationships with senior management across the network to ensure a smooth and efficient process. This is initially a 6-9month interim contract, but there are longer term opportunities available for outstanding candidates owing to the highly acquisitve nature of the organisation. Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with local finance teams to prepare a consolidated balance sheet
  • Consolidated balance sheet to be compliant with IFRS
  • Establish interim reporting processes to ensure that the necessary financial and operational information is provided on a monthly basis whilst the implementation of full reporting systems is ongoing
  • Ensure financials meet the terms of the SPA e.g. adjusting for exceptional costs where appropriate, ensuring correct level of recharges are recognised etc
  • Ensure all pre-completion profits are distributed in accordance with local law
  • Assist with the implementation of full reporting systems, including scope analysis, cost / benefit analysis, system mapping
  • Provide weekly status updates to direct reports and 'Board ready' status updates on a monthly basis
  • Review and align where possible business processes e.g. business development, cost approvals etc

Key Requirements
  • Ideally ACA qualified with a strong technical acounting background
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines with the capacity to multi-task over several on-going projects
  • Able to start immediately
