Where will you be based?Working within our Water business unit, you will be based out of our offices in St Austell, Cornwall - PL24 2HY
What will you be doing?
Following a programme of development through experience and training, you will ensure that civil engineering requirements are correctly interpreted from design and implemented on site. You will be expected to get involved in engineering and quality control, supporting health and safety as well as sustainability initiatives. Day to day you will be surveying & setting out using a variety of equipment and working from construction drawings.There will be a requirement to attend site visits to obtain engineering information to review progress to ensure we deliver on the clients specifications and requirements.
What we're looking for:We are looking for someone who has a naturally inquisitive nature and is interested in understanding how things work. A keen willingness to learn and someone who is adept at solving problems would be able to excel within this apprenticeship. Candidates will need to hold or have predicted GCSE (or equivalent) grades 4 (C) or above in English Language, Maths, Science, and two others. Applicants must have a full UK valid driving licence and access to their own vehicle
