Our client is a global, market-leading Pharmaceutical organisation with specialist, high-quality products in the EMEA Oncology market. They are currently seeking an proactive (Associate) Brand Manager to join a well-established marketing team based at their head office in Hertfordshire. This role will support the EMEA Brand Lead, and provide hands-on marketing project management, with a strong emphasis on tactical planning and implementation for the Oncology brand.
Essential RequirementsPrevious experience in specialist sales and/or pharmaceutical brand management.Previous experience with digital marketing projects is desirable.Ideally international experience & cultural sensitivity, with good knowledge of European codes of practice, especially ABPI.Educated to Degree level or equivalent in Marketing /Business and / or Science.ABPI examination is desirable.Knowledge of the Oncology therapy area is preferred.Have an understanding of field force dynamics and how to maximise sales potential.Have an understanding of brand strategy and core messages and their use in product detailing and communication plans.Have an understanding of European healthcare environment, pricing and reimbursement mechanisms across EMEA.Ability to operate successfully in a matrix environment.Proven success with a marketing project from initiation to finish.
Role ResponsibilitiesAchieve the EMEA budgeted sales and profit targets for the oncology brand with appropriate investment.Support the EMEA Oncology Brand Lead implementing the oncology brand strategy and grow the brand.Provide hands-on marketing project management, with a strong emphasis on tactical plan development and implementation (including multichannel / digital projects).Support in the organisation of internal and external brand meetings, including international and national congress planning and Regional Brand Team meetings.Work with commercial training teams to develop training framework for all the oncology brand related assets to ensure marketing and salesforce effectiveness.Assist with any other ad hoc projects as required.Support the implementation of agreed strategic and tactical brand plans, with a strong focus on monitoring and delivering the EMEA and regional tactical plans.Work in close collaboration with the commercial analytics team in order to ensure a good understanding of the market and clear metrics to assess success of activities as well as identifying trends, opportunities and threats for the oncology brand in order to propose corresponding actions if and when needed.Work in close collaboration with Commercial Training in order to deliver a brand specific training plan executed on schedule and according to the brand strategy.Ensure sharing of best practice amongst affiliates & support whenever appropriate the implementation of local marketing plans.Liaise effectively with external parties and agencies (medical, events, communications and creative) complying with Company SOPs and Codes of Practices.Maintain compliance to SOPs, processes, practices and guidelines and aiming towards excellence.
