GBR Recruitment Ltd are working in partnership with a specialist machinery / specialist vehicle manufacturer, recruiting for an experienced Training Instructor to deliver product related training to both customers & internal employees ensuring both parties are fully up to speed with how to operate the machines / vehicles in a safe manner & how they can get the most of out of the products ensuring customer satisfaction.
You will be experienced in delivering technical training within; Agricultural, Construction & Plant, Municipal, MHE, Off Highway Machinery, Specialist Machinery or similar product ranges / categories as well as possessing excellent communication skills both face to face & over the telephone.
Main tasks will include but are not limited to:
To develop, plan, coordinate and deliver the programme of training for employees and customers on all aspects of the companies products and services ensuring all parties fully understand the machinery's capabilities & how to operate them in a safe manner whilst also being productive
  • Apply knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and programming, in support of the development of operation and technical manuals and best practice regimes
  • Confers with the Management Team to determine training objectives.
  • Creates appropriate high quality training material, including PowerPoint Presentations, written handouts, e-Learning courses whilst applying knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and programming, and following machine, equipment, and tooling manuals.
  • To become the 'digital' logic and telematics subject matter expert by supporting customers and undertaking chargeable Autologic route recording.
  • To continually update the catalog of training to ensure latest updates and innovations are incorporated into the programme.
  • Ensure that a record or training is maintained and annually reviewed, and that certificates are issues promptly following all training events.
  • Co-ordination of warranty procedures from a technical perspective.
  • To organise external training for engineers, including CPC and statutory training.
  • Coordinate warranty procedures from a technical perspective
  • Support customers through the entire process from sale, installation, planning , mapping and delivery of all hardware and services
  • Coordinate with Sales and other departments to ensure customer expectations are met
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Experienced in one of the machinery sectors listed or similar - Strong technical skills within such machinery - Experienced in delivering group & individual training - Training Qualification - Time served in one of the mentioned industries would be useful
