Our Client

Making this a practice, which offers more value than the traditional provision of a full accountancy service, one to watch in the future.

The Opportunity

This new role would be suited to an individual who is either qualified to at least level 4 AAT or perhaps working towards their certified or chartered status.Importantly, you will have gained hands on accountancy practice experience, but do not necessarily want to work in a strictly traditional environment. Our client is keen to encourage its colleagues to build strong business relationships away from the desk. So, if you are someone who enjoys a more personal and interactive association with those companies you support, once established, you will have ample opportunity to exercise this preference.

Our clients have the expertise and experience to know what it takes to be a good and proactive accountant, both technically and consultatively, and their core values, which focus on ethics and quality, have set them apart from others. As a valued team member, you will most certainly benefit from their mentorship and encouragement enabling you to develop your own personal style in business, which will make this role a very different proposition for someone seeking a more dynamic role.

Our Ideal Candidate

As described, you will already be working as a technician or on your way to completing your certified or chartered accountancy qualifications. You are self-motivated with a strong desire to develop your career as an accountant and will want to work more closely with your clients in order to offer a broad range of solutions.Producing and delivering a high standard of service is important to you, and you will be encouraged by an environment which offers you the opportunity to grow personally and professionally. You will be driven to support the company in its strategy for growth and you will achieve this by being tenacious and a good team player.

To be considered for the role, you must:

·Be able to manage your portfolio of clients effectively - you will have experience of working with either multiple clients or cost centres

·Be organised and able to prioritise your workload with limited supervision

·Confident communicating with clients at all levels in both professional and social settings

·Have practical knowledge of all aspects of areas covered up to a minimum level 4 AAT

·Have good analytical skill which can be developed

·Enjoy meeting with existing clients and new clients, understanding their business and offering them a fresh approach to accounting

·Good IT skills, IRIS and Xero desired, but not essential

Our clients offers a fresh approach to businesses and people they work with and are looking for someone who will embody this method in their ethical and professional approach to work.
