Event Sponsorship Manager
Up to £35k (+ excellent bonus & benefits structure)

A new opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic sales professional with highly developed commercial skills to increase sponsorship revenue across the legal events portfolio.

Working closely with the Sponsorship Sales Manager, this opportunity requires a proven sales professional to generate and maximise sponsorship revenue across a series of events focusing on the legal industry. Key to success is gaining an understanding of product, modifying your approach to meet the needs of customers, building strong relationships and representing the team as a brand ambassador.

Your key responsibilities will be as follows:

- Develop innovative new sponsorship packages to meet the needs and budgets of the clients
- Improve long term relationships with clients and prospects with the aim to maximise sales.
- Sourcing and closing new business is essential
- Conduct on-going sales activity and close via the telephone as well as face-to-face
- Ability to analyse the market and identify opportunities
- Ability to manage own sales pipeline
- Attend industry events and conferences
- Maintain sales database and keep up to date

Essential knowledge and skills:

- Strong track record of reaching targets
- Relevant sponsorship sales training and experience
- Commercial drive and highly motivated by money
- Creative and flexible thinker
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to research data quickly and accurately
- Confident in engaging key decision maker of foremost companies
