An IFA practice based in Chesterfield which is part of a large Wealth Management group has an excellent opportunity for a Practice Manager to join their team.

The successful candidate will come from an IFA background and have experience managing a team. They will manage the overall administration function, ensuring a high quality service to Advisers.

Main Duties:
  • Take responsibility for the overall management of the Administration Support Team, ensuring a standardised approach is followed for all processes
  • Work with Head Office to ensure all departmental standards and goals are met
  • Oversight of the maintenance of all administration systems, ensuring that all team members maintain accurate and up to date client information, providing help and guidance to all team members
  • Develop a culture of getting work right first time by implementing a flexible audit process to identify and resolve areas of concern.
  • Monitoring of departmental MI
  • Work with the Administration Manager and other key stakeholders within the organisation to identify any process improvements required to improve standards and efficiencies with the way the remote office operates with Head Office
  • Promote and encourage a positive work environment and attitude amongst team members and advisers, ensuring co-operation, efficiency and outstanding service is always delivered

  • Carry out appraisals and set objectives
  • To ensure the office facilities are maintained
  • Identify and implement plans for own training and development needs.

Requirements:
  • Ideally 3 years' experience within a similar role
  • Must have a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effective organisational and planning skills, with the ability to work to deadlines
  • Experienced using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Delivery focused, with a drive for quality throughout
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willing to learn and develop
  • Able to work as part of a team, or if required, under own initiative
  • Previous experience of coaching and supporting team members
  • Skilled at giving and receiving feedback
