Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a hard-working EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in Salford, Manchester?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a one form entry Primary School in Salford to start in September until the Summer 2020. This is a full time, long-term role with a salary of £60 per day.

The ideal candidate will need to:

• Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification

• Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

• Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained

• Have the legal right to work in the UK

Behaviour and attitude of the pupils towards learning are good. Pupils are polite, inquisitive and very positive about their school and teachers.

The school is a well-ordered and safe environment with a large, secure school field where pupils play together harmoniously during lunch under the supervision of adults. Behaviour is generally good in lessons.

The school boast an extensive range of after school activities which include basketball, street dance, Fitness & Fun, art and craft, cookery, netball, Spanish, Taekwondo and cross country.

About the role

This OFSTED 'Good' primary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within their EYFS department, supporting a child within Reception. The successful candidate must have excellent behaviour management, experience of working with children with Autism and a good knowledge of the EYFS National Curriculum. You must be a committed practitioner who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role.

The role itself will involve supporting a child within the schools Reception class who has Autism. The child is working at a lower level than other students in the class and requires extra support with phonics and motor skills. Ideal candidates will have strong behaviour management and a good curriculum knowledge of phonics. The school are looking for somebody who has the ability to be innovative and engaging, ensuring that the child has fun whilst making progress.
