Hourly Rate: £11.69phr

My client is looking for an experienced individual to work on their service desk.

It's 37 hours per week, hours to be discussed as they have opening times they need to cover, but flexibility on working hours will be needed. The earliest start is 8am and latest finish is 6pm with no weekend work.

Responding to all technical enquiries and incidents, recording, tracking and prioritising requests, ensuring that they are dealt with promptly and professionally. Use remote control technology, to connect to the users' desktop to aid diagnosis and resolution of technical incidents. On occasions it may be necessary to visit a user's workstation or meeting room to provide a resolution. When necessary, assign calls to second line support or 3rd

  • Prior experience of working in an ITIL Service Management environment and be trained to at least ITIL Foundation level.
  • The post holder must be educated to "A Level" or BTEC standard (or equivalent) in a relevant ICT discipline and/or possess at least two year's experience of working in an ICT support environment.
  • The post holder must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to apply these when dealing with customers at all levels across the organisation.
