Edustaff are pleased to be supporting the Science department of a forward-thinking Secondary School to appoint a Science Graduate who can work in a Teaching Assistant role for the 2019-2020 academic year.

This Science Teaching Assistant role would suit a Science graduate who has aspirations of becoming a Science teacher and wants to experience school life before applying for teacher training.

This role can progress into a Science Intervention Tutor and a Science Instructor role depending on the confidence levels of the Graduate. In these roles you will get the chance to plan and lead small group sessions and team-teach in whole class settings.

***Science Graduate Teaching Assistant position
***Secondary School located in Sudbury, Suffolk
***£65-£88 per day (Dependent on role)
***Science Graduate position for a full-academic year initially
***Progressive role that can lead on to Teacher Training from September 2020
***Biology, Chemistry and Physics Graduates will be considered

As a Science Teaching Assistant, you will be working within a fully supportive and well-resourced Science department supporting GCSE and A-level students as they prepare for their exams and complete coursework. Your role as a Science Teaching Assistant will initially involve supporting the Science department in the preparation and delivery of lessons. A big part of your role will be to provide 1:1 and small-group support to ensure that all students are making suitable progress.
