The investment management service offers discretionary investment management which helps clients to both protect and grow their wealth. Dedicated investment managers take care of everything associated with the day-to-day running of portfolios, from determining and maintaining the most appropriate blend of assets, to monitoring and managing risk, to dealing and administration.

They now have a new and exciting opportunity for an Assistant Portfolio Manager to join their highly successful team in Exeter.

In this role you will be involved with the following.

·Supporting Portfolio Managers and Investment Managers in production of portfolio proposals and reviews.

·Executing trades

·Production of portfolio proposals and analytical information

·Liaising with clients.

·Preparation for client review and new client meetings.

You should have excellent accuracy, numeracy and attention to detail. You should possess clear and concise communication skills, both oral and written. You should have the ability to meet deadlines/work within restricted timescales and be a flexible and reliable team member. The ability to work on your own initiative to achieve results with a collaborative and inclusive approach to work is vital for this role. Exposure to the Financial Service/Investment industry would be useful as would progress towards attaining the investment advice diploma.
