Are you an ambitious and dedicated Security Architect/Engineer who is interested in career progression and working within a globally recognised food and drink FMCG organisation? This is a fantastic opportunity working for a category leader that prides itself on building long-standing customer relationships and developing and training their dedicated staff. In this role, you will be responsible for securing IT services and data to protect both the company's intellectual property and every employee within the organisation from malicious attacks.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility for the development and management of security mechanisms necessary to safeguard IT services and staff.
Primary responsibility for managing security software licensing and billing.
Provision of regular compliance and usage reports for the Enterprise Systems Manager to ensure a well-managed and secure IT platform and to drive future investment, where necessary.
Provision of Incident Reports in the event of security breaches, to include root cause analysis and preventative measures to ensure incident recurrence is minimised. Target audience can be all management grades, up to Chief Executive level.
Efficient management of security changes, following Princes' change management policy to ensure changes are delivered on-schedule.
Retain up-to-date knowledge of emerging security concepts and technologies and recommend adoption and risk mitigation strategies
Technical expertise within the business continuity and disaster recovery arenas
Support and administration of the Windows Server and Active Directory security environment.
Ensure all related documentation is kept up to date to enable support of systems by other members of the team and department.
Assist in the troubleshooting of all areas of the IT Core Infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience:

Firewall management and rule deployment
Anti-virus management
Secure Internet browsing and blocking of inappropriate content
Secure e-mail provision
Microsoft Windows Server security concepts
Microsoft Active Directory security concepts
Secure networking principles
VMware ESX security competence
Securing line of business applications
Secure remote access and Internet technologies

The Security Architect will be expected to be proficient in the following non-technical areas.

Appreciation of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery principles.
Ability to produce written reports on support issues.
Project Management experience.
Appetite for continuous improvement and an attention to detail.
Knowledge and appreciation of ITIL foundation principles.
Telephone manner.
Excellent communications skills
Ability to make key decisions to ensure availability of core IT applications & infrastructure through mitigating security risks.
