Scrum Master - SAFe transformation

With our Engineering teams in London and Sofia, we need a Scrum Master to manage two teams based across both locations. You'll make sure everyone is working to the agreed sprints, facilitate the Agile ceremonies and remove blockers to help further the team's output. You'll help the team continually improve, coaching them in Agile principles and methodologies.

We value flexibility around how we use Agile, choosing the right approach for each situation: some of our teams work in a strict Scrum framework, others use Kanban, while some are focused on Lean/MVP approach. The important thing is to listen to your team, help them find what works for them and empower people.

We need your energy and enthusiasm for Agile, Scrum & SAFe, for building great teams and helping them deliver great product. Sometimes you need to be our dragon slayer, sometimes our cheerleader, or maybe just a good, empathetic listener - all in the pursuit of addressing any potential issues before they have a chance to escalate.

You'll also be instrumental in helping us with our SAFe transformation and we'll support you to become a certified SAFe Agilist 4.6. You can then put your theoretical knowledge into practice by working on Agile Release Trains with the support of our Release Train Engineer.

Some of the skills needed -
  • You need to LOVE Agile and understand WHY you use it, but you'll also understand its challenges and pitfalls.
  • You need to be flexible and adapt the theory to make it work for your team.
  • With a great team of Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches, you'll be ready to collaborate to exchange ideas and help each other.
  • PASSION!! We want our Scrum Master to love what they do and be a real advocate for it within the business.

You will be working very closely with the Agile Coach so there are massive opportunities to step up into a Mentor/Coaching role very quickly if that is something of interest.
