Multi Trades Recruitment are looking for a FLT DRIVER / WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE for a well established Trolly repair company based in Leeds.
About You:
* You MUST have an FLT Counterbalance licence.
* Experience in this role is not essential however you MUST have experience using hand tools and metal work and spot weldng.

About the role:
* Paid at £9.50 per hour.
* This position will lead to permanent for the right person.
Trolley Repairing
Check trolley for straightness of structure of back and sides.
All misaligned and damaged wirework to be straightened.
All missing wires to be replaced to match existing and detached welded joints to be re-welded.
Damaged wirework that has stretched to be cut, trimmed and re-welded.
Check action of folding base tray and security of fixing, both in the down and upright positions.
Check the operation of folding shelves, where fitted.
Check that gates locate correctly and that they lock open and shut according to design.
Invert trolley and check base frame for weld fractures.
Wheels and castors to be checked for smooth running, castor plates to be level and all four wheels to touch the ground.
Remove all string, plastic and other debris from wheels.
Lubricate as necessary with light grade oil.
Replace faulty wheels and/or castors with good recycled parts as available.
Inspect to ensure that there are no sharp edges.
Trolley Handling
Trolley returns recorded: date, time, trailer no and quantity.
Drivers manifest confirmed and stamped.
Manage the receipt of trolleys arriving at the unloading bays.
Marshalling of all trolleys into specific type.
Manage storage of excess stock within the reception area with planned rotation of stock.
Identification and segregation of all trolleys belonging to other dairies.
Segregation of trolley returns containing product for the dairy to dispose of.
Removal of labels and layer boards.
Segregation of trolleys that require maintenance.
Delivery of trolleys to production.
Making sure your working area is kept clean, tidy and free of any foreign objects.
All required PPE to be worn at all times.
