Payroll Administrator Role - Newcastle - £18,000-£20,000 + Benefits

Your new company
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Payroll Administrator to be part of a small busy payroll team, with responsibility for ensuring all employees on the payroll are paid accurately and on time. As well as this, ensuring payroll processing remains compliant with legislation and company policies at all times.

Your new role
This is an end-to-end payroll, so you will take ownership from start to finish and be responsible for;

  • Processing weekly pay across the group.
  • Validation of Tax, NI, SSP,SMP,SPP and SMP calculations.
  • Checking net pay calculations before payment processing deadlines
  • Processing starters, leavers and salary changes including calculation of arrears and leaving entitlements.
  • Completion of delegated payroll year end duties
  • Resolving payroll queries from employees in a professional and timely manner.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have at least 2 years experience within a Payroll position and either possess, or have an interest in, CIPP study. You will have a willingness to learn and be able to work to tight deadlines, with strong attention to detail.
