In this Primary TA post you will be working within a specific class based on school need and your own preferences. Not only will you gain a wealth of experience here, but you will also learn how to be an effective classroom practitioner as you work alongside the approachable Senior Leadership Team and class teacher. In addition to general responsibilities you will be expected to attend small intervention groups as well as lead 1:1 sessions for struggling or high achieving pupils. You will have the opportunity to participate in after school clubs enjoyed by many of the pupils.

For this post you should be a personable graduate who has previous experience supporting children and a 2:1 degree at the very least. You must have an approachable and accommodating manner and the drive and enthusiasm to become a confident practitioner. You will arrive with advanced communication skills that ensure the smooth running of lessons and classroom activities. You must show the ability to easily and effectively develop rapports that benefit both you and your students.
