We are currently recruiting for a Junior Project Manager at our client site based in Poole.

An experienced, enthusiastic and versatile individual looking to further their PM career is required to join an established Project Management team. The team provides the full range of Project Management capability around a portfolio of exceptional products from industry leading vendors such as SAP, Microsoft, Citrix and VMWare.

The role will encompass a variety of project management tasks including, but not limited to:
* Management of multiple, concurrent, complex, customer-facing IT application and infrastructure projects
* You will be holding the overall responsibility for the performance of the project from the point of order through to completion
* You will require a proven and demonstrable track-record in management of all aspects of the project life-cycle of the implementation of line of business applications such as ERP or CRM for example and/or infrastructure solutions
* Other administrative tasks that may be required

About You
As a junior role we are looking for someone with some project department experience (1 year+) with basic understanding of the project life-cycle for infrastructure solutions and/or applications such as ERP or CRM.

Essential skills:
* Project experience must be based on delivering projects to external SME customers from a wide range of market / industry sectors
* Experience of managing a significant number of projects at any one time. Project mix would include both short and long-term projects
* Strong understanding of the project life-cycle for business applications and / or infrastructure solutions
* Strong background in resource planning and management is essential
* Experience in managing project budgets
* Experience of operating rigorous change control procedures
* Prince 2 qualifications
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
* Excellent communication skills and experience of dealing with customers
* Good communicator with a professional telephone manner
* Well-presented and a welcoming and friendly manner
* Efficient and professional
* Good time management
* Multitasker with a can-do attitude
Advantageous skills:
* Appreciation of core logistical business processes
* A background in resource planning and management
* Ability to work individually and as part of a team
* Some Agile project experience
* Experience of project costing
* Experience of risk analysis/mitigation strategies
