Fixed term for 12 months.
As our Reconciliation Clerk, you will work within the local finance team to be responsible for validating accounting transactions in accordance with established requirements. Key tasks will include completing daily bank reconciliations and reconciling other balance sheet accounts to agreed timescales as well as managing the open items within the ledgers.

What the role will entail• Daily multi-currency bank reconciliations across multiple entities and tracking the opening bank balances and predicted closing balances of the accounts
• Preparation of monthly reconciliations
• Identifying, tracking and resolving queries on the ledgers, through the creation of action plans and escalating as appropriate
• Preparation of various month end reporting
• Assist with audit preparation; month and year end closing processes

What we're looking for• Suitable for someone embarking / or wishing to embark on professional studies such as Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT)
• Previous accounting experience and experience of working in a dynamic finance environment
• Experience of financial processes and systems
• Microsoft Office software, in particular Excel
• Working knowledge of reconciliations
• Basic understanding of financial statements
• Ability to work as part of a team/be flexible
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
