We are currently recruiting for an Accountant to join our client in Newbury, Berkshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • All aspects of Purchase Ledger- entering invoices, raising payments and supplier reconciliations
  • Entering of sales invoices
  • Entering of monies received from remittance advice
  • Credit Control
  • Payroll
  • Management costings
  • Product cost analysis
  • Preparation and maintenance of the standards cost system.
  • General office administration, performing tasks requested by the Senior Accountant
  • Manage daily contact with customers and suppliers by email and telephone

Key Skills &Experience:
  • Formal qualification (MAAT/AAT Level 3 and above)
  • Experience using Sage 50
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within an accounts environment
  • Payroll
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Well organised with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of SAP

Working hours: Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 17:00

Salary range: £23,000-£25,000/annum depending upon experience.
