Robert Half are recruiting for a rapidly growing private equity backed franchise company based in London. They are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their growing team.

Role

The role for Purchase Ledger Clerk for a rapidly growing private equity backed franchise based in London are looking for:

Someone with previous experience in a fast-paced multi-site Accounts Payable role. Initially the focus of the role will be somewhat project based as the function is transitioned and gets established in house and thereafter the focus of the role will include:

High volume data entry and invoice processing

Controlling and over-site of the supplier invoice approval work-flow. Ensuring correct authorisations are obtained for all invoices

Preparing batch payment runs and running the weekly supplier payment runs

Handling and resolving queries from suppliers and dental practices

Reconciling accounts

Intermediate Excel - including v-look up & pivots

High level of attention to detail

Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Preparing and processing payment runs - BACS files etc

Daily reconciliation of Accounts Payable control account

Daily Bank Reconciliations, and ensuring bank accounts have enough funds for up-coming payments

Profile

To be successful in applying for the Purchase Ledger Clerk role for a private equity backed franchise company based in London you must meet the following requirements:

2-3 years experience in purchase ledger or a similar role.

Experience in high volume invoicing.

Ideally experience in a small to medium sized company with a multi-entity structure.

Strong organisational skills

Proficient in Microsoft office / excel

A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

The ability to multi-task and deliver high quality work for deadlines.

Salary & Benefits

£24,000 - £28,000

Plus Study Support for ACCA / CIMA / AAT qualification

Plus annual bonus
