We specialise in the recruitment of high quality candidates in the accounts sector. We have an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join a small team within our client in Kensington.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, professional and approachable and able to react quickly to the needs of the business.

Payroll Assistant's Core Duties
  • Processing starters and leavers
  • Administrating pension contributions for auto enrolment via salary sacrifice
  • Processing and calculating absences (SMP holidays, SSP, SPP, ASPP, jury and unpaid days)
  • Processing travel expenses
  • Answering queries and rectifying errors
  • Reconciling basic pay, absence, promotions and holidays
  • Preparing ad hoc reports using Excel

Payroll Assistant's Skills required
  • Discretion to deal with sensitive and confidential information
  • A high level of numeric ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective prioritising in a high pressure environment
  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills and organisational skills
  • Strong accuracy and a natural attention to detail

Key Experience
  • Minimum 1 years' experience processing payroll from start to finish
  • Advance knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Experience of running monthly payrolls using SnowdropKCS
  • Understanding of auto enrolment and RTI
  • A-Level standard of education
