Edustaff have been recently contacted by a client secondary school in the heart of Birmingham, who are looking to recruit a passionate and talented Maths Graduate, to take on the role of a Teaching Assistant, with immediate effect, full time & long term, until July 2020 to support and assist pupils within the Maths Department across Key Stages 3, 4 &5.

In your role as a Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting the class teachers and carry out intervention work, supporting pupils who are struggling and also those who find themselves close to grade borderlines to try and ensure they secure the higher grade.

As the successful Teaching Assistant, you will be predominantly working on a 1:1 basis and working with small groups of pupils with varying ability levels, predominantly with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils and the possibility of working with A-Level students.

The School had an Ofsted inspection in early 2013 as was deemed as 'Good'. The Headteacher and Senior Management Team have been noticed as providing an excellent contribution to all members of staff and securing a learning environment where pupils achieve great results. With this dedication and hard work, the school will have no problem in reaching the 'Outstanding' status.
