Our Headquarters is in Poole Dorset where the majority of our 150+ employees are based. We have a second facility in Birmingham which conducts our chemical etching process. In addition to our UK sites we have sales offices in Brazil, Houston, Singapore and Korea.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Planner. You will be an experienced and competent in planning and coordinating engineering project timelines ensuring that they are completed on time for our internal stake-holders.

You will be responsible for creating /maintaining / updating and monitoring the engineering project schedule, making sure necessary resources are available to facilitate bid & project activity and acting as the department liaison between all internal stakeholder.

You will be responsible for the engineering project schedule using MS Projects to;
Plan all work and resource to meet the demands of bids, job packs, design change requests & NCR's. Communicate with all stakeholders to ensure dates are agreed in advance.Progress allocated tasks within the department to ensure agreed dates are met. Raise potential issues early with Team Leads. Act as the engineering Coordinator for Kick Off meetings, ensuring dates are available in advance.
Monitoring Development & CAPEX trackers, working with the Finance department to ensure tracker is up to date with spend & that NPI (New Product Introduction) milestones are on plan.
Maintain department KPI's, this includes capturing & recording daily metrics. This includes the ability to transpose to graphical reports including trending data and providing regular updates / overview to Team leads.
Communicating & Networking with key stakeholders to build relationships to ensure customer / key Stakeholder satisfaction.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities List
Able to appreciate technical skill sets required to facilitate planning & allocate work
Solid ability to plan a portfolio of projects
Is proficient in the use of MS Project / MS Project Server
Well-organised, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task
Ability to gather data, to compile information, and prepare reports
Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft office software
Ability to work independently and prioritise duties with minimal supervision, in order to meet deadlines
Strong written communication and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service orientation

Ability to ensure a high level of service and quality is maintained
