The Client
We have recruited on behalf of our client for several years. We have come to know their organisation well and have watched it expand a lot during this time. They are an industry leader in their engineering sector and manage projects throughout the UK.
They work in a variety of areas, including NHS, education, retail, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and residential buildings.
You will report to the Sales Manager
The role will allow you to establish long term positive and productive relationships with consultants, contractors and end users, whilst promoting the benefits of new products & technologies.
Prepare quotations and tenders for new and existing customers and follow up in a professional manner. With guidance you will become technically conversant with the company's products and service portfolio, being able to discuss the function of the equipment knowledgeably with your customers, that will allow you to offer the quote and tender process to be as successful as possible.
You will be able to provide excellent written communication, including bid & tender writing and supporting your marketing colleagues.
Achieving targeted sales growth and maintaining a strong pipeline of business is essential.
The Ideal Person
* It would be advantageous to have knowledge of healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors including verifications, surveys and testing of operating theatres, pharmacy clean rooms etc.
* To have existing relationships in this sector would also be advantageous.
* Significant credentials across transactional, consultative and complex selling.
* Expertise in pipeline development and conversion across both public and private sectors.
* Experience in customer relationship management.
* Success in both developing new business and growing established business.
* Represent and promote the business in a professional and positive manner
Experience
* A Minimum of 2 years sales experience.
* Developed IT skills essential
* Driving License (office based with occasional travel for site surveys / meetings)
