This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join the Community Respiratory Service in Newhaven. You will be working as part of a dynamic Respiratory team working with Respiratory Nurse Specialists, Physiotherapists, an Oxygen Practitioner, an Assistant Practitioner and a Rehabilitation Assistant to provide a service to patients who require respiratory interventions at home and in clinics.

You will be responsible for providing administrative support to all team members. This is to include computerised information systems, processing and registering referrals onto SystmOne, booking patients into clinics and clinician visits, word processing, developing and maintaining filing systems, compiling patient folders, scanning patient information onto the system, ordering stock and equipment, and answering the phone to patients and staff.

The successful candidate will have had two years' previous administrative/clerical experience including at least one year in a health or social care environment.

Excellent communication skills and a clear understanding of procedures in relation to data protection/confidentiality are essential. Highly developed organisational/time management skills, good team working skills and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the team, working to tight deadlines with minimal supervision are also vital.
