This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed person to join the Community Respiratory team in Brighton and Hove as a Band 3 Community Respiratory Rehabilitation Assistant. You will be working as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team comprising of Nurses, Physiotherapists, an Occupational Therapist, a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, and Community Respiratory Rehabilitation Assistants.

The aim of this multidisciplinary team is to support chronic respiratory patients in the community to manage their lung conditions on a day to day basis and to help prevent unnecessary hospital admissions. The successful applicant will be responsible for following care plans given by all members of this multidisciplinary team. As well as visiting patients at home, they will also assist in pulmonary rehabilitation classes and clinics.

We are looking for an excellent team player who has outstanding communication skills and good time management and organisational skills, all essential requirements of this post.

It is essential that applicants hold a full UK driving licence and have a car available for work, as the successful applicant will be required to undertake home visits independently.
