A fast-growing company based near Didcot in Oxfordshire are seeking an Engineering Project Manager to join a team recognised as innovators within their industry.

The business is a rapidly growing and world-leading supplier of unique game-changing technology to multiple industries including Scientific, Consumer Goods and Defence. Their award-winning R&D and Engineering teams have created and developed innovative processes and equipment to deliver new technology for commercial applications.

As a technology business, there is a continual focus on both developing new products and also maintaining a high standard of efficient processes and procedures, to ensure the innovative engineered solutions remain at the forefront of the market.

As an Engineering Project Manager you will be involved right from managing the Project Scope and will be leading multi-discipline engineering projects including manufacturing proof-of-concept trials. You will develop the project schedule and ensure the project team are clear on their deliverables, whilst also being involved in directing the engineering strategy and working closely with the Technology Manager to drive the engineering team to meet key milestones.

As you would expect, as the Engineering Project Manager you would also take ownership of project reporting, budget control and risk management but you can also enjoy being involved in writing technical specifications. You will be dealing with high tech systems being developed right from an early stage, so a familiarity with Technology Readiness Levels could be beneficial.

This position may suit you if you have:

- A formal qualification in an engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or Control Systems. An IT/Software background is not suitable but other technical or scientific backgrounds will be considered

- At least 5 years experience in managing projects in a high tech environment

The salary for this position is £35,000 - £50,000 depending upon experience, although flexibility may be possible for an ideal candidate. Other benefits include up to 10% bonus, 25 days holiday, pension matched at 5% and a personal healthcare plan.
