Service Desk Analyst Dundee Meraki Talent's professional services client based in Dundee are currently looking for 2 x IT Service Desk Analysts to join them on a permanent basis. As Service Delivery Analyst within the Enterprise Technology team you will be responsible for operating the IT Service Desk. You will be the first point of contact for all calls to the Service Desk, delivering 'fix at first line' solutions and escalating within the Service Desk as required. Working closely with your colleagues in the Service Delivery team you will provide excellent e-mail, telephone and face to face support for internal and external customers where required. Responsibilities of the IT Service Desk Analyst; Provide and promote first-class, proactive IT support Operate the IT Service Desk to fulfil requests and resolve incidents in line with established Service Level Agreements Maintain a fully functional fleet of end user equipment Install and support various business services and desktop applications Provide guidance and support for end users and IT Operations staff Adopt and maintain published processes and procedures Hardware and software purchasing Produce inventory documentation and maintain consistent software and hardware asset management records Background of the IT Service Desk Analyst; Operating an IT Service Desk, handling calls including categorisation, documentation and escalation where needed Excellent and proven problem solving and troubleshooting experience Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Office suite NTFS permissions Familiarity and understanding of Microsoft Lync and SharePoint Desktop, laptop and mobile device hardware support Familiarity with Active Directory and Exchange user administration Hardware, software purchase and maintenance Is this job for you?
