We are looking for an energetic, artistic and conscientious individual to join our marketing and booking team. The successful applicant would have good knowledge of Carbis Bay, St Ives and the surrounding areas and able to provide excellent customer service.

We have a range of 4 and 5 star Gold award properties all within a 2 mile radius of Carbis Bay. We need an individual to bring fresh and exciting ideas to market these properties on various platforms such as social media, our website, newsletters etc

The role will include making property visits in order to write web content as well as being office based to complete both marketing and booking tasks.

Main marketing responsibilities:

1.Assist with the production of marketing materials and literature, such as web content, brochures and press releases

2.Help organise events and exhibitions

3.Write and proof-read adverts, newsletters and social media posts

4.Upload material to our website, social media pages, online libraries and marketing department databases

5.Help design and place advertisements

6.Evaluate marketing campaigns using tracking and analytical software and assess the results with management

7.Liaise with graphic, website designers and printing companies

8.Help with presentations by assembling videos, slideshows and analyses of competitors

9.Organise photography & floor plans

10.Arrange promotional items for properties, such as Spa Memberships

Main administration responsibilities:

1.Respond to and follow up guest enquiries both via email and telephone and ensure guests receive the best customer service possible.

2.Process all bookings in line with the company's booking conditions and ensuring guests are fully aware of their responsibilities in relation to their damage deposit

3.Ensure full communication between Carbis Bay Holidays and housekeepers is maintained such as when taking last minute bookings and extensions to holidays

4.Use our booking software to place guest and owner bookings

5.Processing payments for holiday bookings

6.Processing trade invoices including digital filing

Skills Required:
  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • The ability to build rapport with clients, and have confidence to promote holiday options over the phone, email and face to face
  • A knowledge of and passion for Cornwall
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • The ability to work within a team
  • A good work ethic and time management skills

This is a full time position working 37.5 hours per week to include Saturdays.
