Our client a well established and successful mutual life, pensions and investment company is looking to recruit an ambitious, professional and results-driven Protection Development Manager to complement their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Head of Protection Sales key responsibilities will include;

* Achievement of clearly defined sales targets from a panel of selected intermediaries.

* Continually develop and maintain knowledge of the external market and competitors in order to provide informed opinion, both internally and externally.

* Proactively build internal relationships forming strong alliances which benefit all parties.

* Responsible for designing and implementing your own business plan ensuring you implement your own strategy

* Understanding of the dynamics of the individual protection market

* Knowledge of how protection products can be applied within the Personal and Corporate Financial Planning sectors

* Maintain a pipeline of current and potential clients to provide information relating to targets and projections for potential growth of a client

* Function as part of a team but in an independent, self-motivating capacity with a large amount of responsibility for the territory.

A background in Protection products is essential. RO5, JO2, JO3, RO3 or equivalent distinct advantage

You will also possess exceptional communication skills and the ability to create professional relationships with a variety of clients. This position would suit an acutely sales driven professional who is eager maximise their earning potential.
