We are excited to be working with a great company based in Slough who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is a well-known company with international presence, and this role would heavily promote personal development.

Responsibilities:
  • To prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, KPI comparisons, overheads, Balance Sheet and variance analysis and commentaries for senior managers of each company
  • To provide a support service working with the management team by putting finances and accounts in context and communicating financial data to non-financial managers
  • To review and reconcile Inter-Company recharges and transactions
  • To maintain the fixed asset register
  • To oversee quarterly VAT Return
  • To report VAT on sales to the EU via the EC Sales List
  • To reconcile Sterling and Euro accounts
  • To prepare year-end Financial Statement
  • To prepare audit file and deal with Auditors as appropriate
  • To manage aged debtors/creditors
  • To manage weekly and monthly payroll

To be considered:
  • Commercial awareness, with an interest in business and an understanding of how an organisation works and manages resources
  • Awareness of worldwide current affairs which may have an impact on business
  • A lively and enquiring mind with a logical approach to work, combined with analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with colleagues at all levels including non-finance members of staff
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Confident presentation skills
  • A high level of numeracy and the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear way
  • A strong book keeping knowledge
  • Professionalism and commitment
  • IT proficiency
