Are you a Dynamic National account manager longing for a fresh challenge? Or a National Account Executive chomping at the bit for your chance at the big time? Signature career management are partnered with an ambitious, market leading food manufacturer based in Yorkshire who are keen to recruit a National Account Manager to join their team.

This role has arisen due to internal progression and company growth; the successful candidate will be working for a company that really backs their team and have created a culture that's hard to beat! This role is not for the faint hearted as you will be taking on their strategic accounts within the Highstreet Discount Channel. You will be able to make a name for yourself within the industry and make an impact in a business where hard work and success doesn't go unnoticed. This will be a home-based contract but must be able to commute to the office in Yorkshire 1-2 days per week

Responsibilities include:
  • Building and maintaining long lasting relationships with a strategic customer base
  • Drive sales and further depth of distribution
  • Working across the supply chain to ensure delivery
  • Full P&L accountability
  • Develop, negotiate, execute and track the delivery of a joint annual business plans with the customers that underpin the Sales and Brand strategy achievement within those Customers
  • The primary driver for the business strategy and relationship with key Highstreet Discount accounts

The successful candidate will hold the following experience/ attributes:
  • FMCG National Account experience, able to build and nurture relationships
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels
  • An eye for detail should be balanced with some creative flair and you will be able to demonstrate good commercial acumen
  • Experience in building collaborative relationships and partnerships
  • Strong with numbers, able to analyse data, interpret and present back to the business and customer
  • Strong presentations skills, comfortable in a customer facing role, agreeing JBPs with your customers
  • Confident to challenge back in the correct manor
  • Team player - looking to fit into the company's culture and ways of working
  • Operate in a challenging and rewarding environment
  • High energy - ready to tear it up and make a difference!
