I am looking for a Product Manager to work for this growing company in Berkshire. You will be part of a dedicated team overseeing product development and monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and service.This role is charged with determining the demand for software products and services, defining and documenting product requirements and roadmaps for execution and developing strategies for maximising sales and market share




Responsibilities

Act as the 'Product Owner' for assigned solutions, working cross-functionally to deliver the solutions to market

Work with customers, staff and other subject matter experts to understand business requirements related to new software features

Articulates the capabilities and direction of products in senior level discussions with staff, customers, prospects and other industry experts

Makes recommendations on tactical product priorities and maintains the tactical product roadmap

Reviews data and analyzes business processes and creates system process specifications

Contributes and develops documentation for new software features including user interface mockups, process and data flow diagrams, development of user stories

Works with product development as a member of an Agile development team to contribute to the delivery of a high-quality solution to our customers

Conduct competitive analysis to identify areas of opportunity and develop and maintain detailed, up-to-date analysis of the competitive landscape

Supports software testing and internal or external training; may provide demonstrations on software capability and design

Adheres to 'best-practice' standards as well as departmental policies and procedures #

Develops, manages and maintains customer, 3rd party partnerships & integration relationships Supports Sales efforts, SME and advanced demos as needed

Supports Marketing efforts, provides core collateral content

May manage business analysts, providing coaching and training, performance management

Performs work with a high degree of autonomy; may include some evenings and weekends when necessary; some travel may be required for customer visits and industry events

Stay abreast of industry trends and customer needs

Identify opportunities to refine existing or develop new intellectual property

Required Skills & Experience:

4-8 years in Business Analyst or Product Manager role involving related work

Product Management experience in a SaaS environment

Demonstratable ability to proactively and consistently influence tactical and strategic product direction

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into layman's terms and present clearly and concisely in an engaging fashion to a large audience

Experience in technology enabled business transformation projects

Desirable experience with wireframing tools i.e. Balsamic

Ability to multi-task and prioritize issues in a fast-paced work environment

Ability to travel to customer sites or industry events is typically necessary

Educational Qualifications/ Pre-Requisites:

Relevant degree or equivalent work experience
